Announcing “Alert Wizard” v1.0 - QSL-ware

Alert Wizard is a small application dedicated to notifying the user of an approaching “schedule”, or event. Alert Wizard is very conservative with system resources, and can “live” in the system tray.

The main window provides a menu, accessible with a button click. The Alert Wizard icon, in the system tray, also provides a "right click" menu.

Notification is accomplished with a "pop up" window, or Alert Message, and sound. The displayed Alert Message consists of previously entered text. A user selectable wave file may also be played.
Notification by Alert Message occurs twice, five minutes before the scheduled event - a "Warning", or yellow alert - and when it's time for the event to begin - an "Alert" or green alert. Additionally the Alert Wizard icon, in the system tray, becomes "animated" - flashing primarily yellow or green. A wave file is selectable for each type alert message.

All alerts are displayed and stored using UTC. To toggle the "displayed clock" time between UTC and local times, click the "time display". This works in the "main window" and also the "Alerts Editor" window.

The Alerts Editor -

Editing, adding and viewing alerts are accomplished from the Alerts Editor display. This display, or editor, is accessible is three ways: 1) from the button on the main window. 2) the menu of the main window. 3) the tray icon menu.
